The design of the G3 Max combines beauty and practicality. G3 Max adopts the gravity balance and pressure distributed head-mounted design. Pressure is evenly distributed in different positions of the head, greatly reducing the pressure on the face and you won't feel fatigued even with prolonged use. 3D movies

I bought them to watch 3D movies and I'm very disappointed. I have a 3D TV and I watch Blu-ray 3D movies at an extraordinary level. Compared to what I see on TV Goovis only shows the depth of the image but does not "go outside the screen". Too bad

Absolutley Stunning

I was a bit sceptical before I purchased my G3 Max Headset. I spoke to a goovis represntative and based on her advice and knowledge and the youtube reviews I bought this off Indiegogo. Its the best piece of tech gear I have bought in a long time. I used to watch movies and sport on ultra short throw projector (4k) and since buying the G3 Max I have never used it. The picture quality and Immersive atmosphere of the G3 Max is mind blowing. It really does feel like you are in the middle of the Cinema ( for some doubters and haters this seems to be a joke) but it is that good its just hard to imagine unless you have used it. I now play steamdeck games on the G3 Max and that is just mindblowing also. To make the movies and games even better I use JBL surround sound ear buds or the Turtle Beach Recon 500 Headset for sound. With this and the G3 Max its just as good as being in the cinema, its just simply amazing. If you are thinking of buying one just go ahead and do it, its changed the way I watch movies and play games. Do not be put off by all the haters who are trashing the specs of this tech, and making fun and laughing whilst never experiencing it. It is just BRILLIANT.

Very Good, but Overpriced

I enjoy the glasses, but don't think they're worth $1,000. Nice big clear image. They work well with the portable media player. The speakers are lousy but BT is available, and I use the 3.5 audio jack. I want to buy a longer USB C cable, but as mentioned in other reviews , the input port on the glasses is small and a really narrow plug is required. Goovis doesnt offer optional cables or replacement USB C G3 max cables, perhaps at a later date...

Awesome Image Quality

I have tried many VR and head mounted displays over the years - including the Goovis G2 headset. While I enjoyed the G2, there were many flaws in the design. I was very excited to see the new design and high-color higher resolution displays with the G3 max. I received mine about two weeks ago and I must say that I am very impressed. The picture resolution, brightness and colors are amazing and this is truly a big leap from the G2. This is also the best headset I have tried out as far as image quality and eye comfort is concerned. The build quality and design aesthetics are top-notch as well. I will be using this for gaming and movies and I'm very happy with the headset overall.

My biggest complaint about the product is that it does not come with a carrying or storage case. This is a huge disappointment. It came in very nice and fancy packaging, but nothing to keep this very expensive product in to protect it. I would have much rather had simple packaging and a carrying case for the headset. I'm not happy that I now have to pay extra for the case. It should come with such an expensive product. Also, the USB-C cable that is shipped with it is far too short (for something like plugging into a PC) and I've had to spend more money on finding a long chord that also fits the headset. I also think there should be navigation buttons, such as next, previous, play, and pause built into the headset for easier media control.

The instruction manual is not great, but the headset is intuitive enough to understand. There is also a USB-C port on the top part of the headset and it is not clear what that is for. I asked customer support, but did not receive a clear answer about the top USB-C port.

All-in-all, the headset itself is amazing and I'm very happy with it. There are just a few things that I'm disappointed with in the product package - mainly that it comes with very fancy, expensive packaging (which will get thrown away), but it does not have a simple storage case.
